Their relationship was one of the most complex, intriguing, and well-written male/female platonic friendships I've ever seen.  So many assholes think that if a man and a woman are friends, there has to be sexual tension between them.  No way in hell.  These precious babies were basically willing to die for each other, actually died in the other's arms more than once, and there was no romance there.  The thing I loved so much about the Zero Escape games was how much stress was put on familial love - siblings, parents, grandparents, etc.  Consistently, they shelve contrived or hackneyed romances to probe something much deeper, and I can't thank them enough for that.

Long story short, long live Moirails!Sigma/Phi.
